The story of the young Paul Griffin who joined the army in 1940 at the age of 19 and opted for the Indian Army. He spent two years guarding the Khyber Pass with his battalion (the 3rd/6th Ghurkas) before training for warfare with the Chindits for whom he was GIII (Ops). He helped to evacuate the Broadway stronghold before being re-assigned to the invasion of Malaya.
