Deliciously intense flavours of sun-dried fruits follow—prunes, dates, and sultanas—reflecting the influence of the Pedro Ximénez casks, while the first-fill European oak casks provide aromatic hints of liquorice and winter spices balanced by cocoa nibs and light oak from the ex-bourbon casks. A delightfully fragrant and smoky finish lingers on notes of sherried fruits and sweet spices.
